Paul and Glenda came to France in 1983. After helping a work in the Paris area, they moved east to Metz to plant a church. They and their three children had a good ministry to children and youth, but families were more attracted to a larger, sister Baptist church across town. Paul revived a struggling youth camp organized annually and made it into a family Bible and ski camp. For many years Glenda has directed the choir of the Bible and Pastoral Institute (Baptist) in northeast France. She has been used in particular by God to teach women and to help future church pianists. From 2007 to 2020 the Stetsons helped Baptist churches (five) which asked for their help. They lived with missionaries, or they rented their own place. Their children have, or they are yet serving as missionaries. From 2021 to the present, the Stetsons have returned to lead a church they had helped after the missionary pastor was taken by Covid. The Baptist Church of Laon is growing, but still small. Paul served four years as secretary of the French Association of Independent Baptists. Glenda and Paul enjoy their ten grandchildren (by visioconference), but they remain faithful to their church, camp, and institute work in France. Contact Paul at: stetson4france@gmail.com
